Manage
Thanks to the TAKM software suite, telecom infrastructure managers can effectively manage and streamline the entire infrastructure management process, from the project planning stages through to operations and analytics, in a wide range of areas such as civil engineering (chambers, ducts…), passive optical networks (fiber, copper, coaxial and hybrid cables, patch cords…) and active equipment (telecom cabinets, distribution frames…).
TAKM integrates into and communicates with the carrier's different information systems (tracking, billing, customer service, and so on).

 Protect

The TAKM-DICT solution is designed for the swift processing of BYD requests (Before You Dig) and NOIs (Notices of Intent to Start Work). These requests and notices must be sent to all known carriers and utilities that are likely to be operating network facilities in an area where the company is looking to dig or carry out work.

Operators can use the dynamic web-based BYD/NOI dashboard to process, track and map their different project files. The extensive range of geolocation and autocomplete tools makes light work of submitting and digitizing the necessary requests and notices.

Inspect

TAKM/MHFS is the PDA solution for inspecting, taking meter readings and maintaining all telecommunications infrastructures. Field operatives can use a simple mobile terminal (rugged laptops, tablet PCs, PDAs, etc.) to take readings and check status levels of individual equipment, as well as the entire civil engineering works and plant infrastructure.
Once back at the technical control center or even via a wireless link (GSM, Wi-Fi…), data is synchronized with the telecom infrastructure's database, which is managed using an administration / configuration console.
