Luxembourg - February 16, 2009 In the wake of France's successful Presidency of the European Union, P&T Consulting (PTC) and its IC2M team are planning to overhaul some of IC2M's core modules and pioneer new features to keep pace with its customers' needs and expectations. As part of this IC2M newsletter, it gives us great pleasure to announce the new features available in version 3.3.
Main highlights:1- CONFIGURATION OF ROLES AND USES - A major challenge facing any firm, especially event organizers and service providers, is the ability to keep a handle on its different actions. This involves a complete distribution in everyone's tasks, access rights and permissions. We have therefore decided to upgrade an essential part of our application core by completely re-engineering how users are managed and how their roles and access rights are redefined. What we are trying to achieve is even greater flexibility in the configuration of IC2M and new possibilities for those customers wishing to manage their teams' access rights in line with the different scenarios for each event, rather than based on a fixed model. This increases flexibility and the user experience, while minimizing support needs and boosting user efficiency and understanding. 2- MULTI-LEVEL ACCREDITATION - Another major change is that the module for managing participant registrations has been redesigned for every type of profile (groups, press, suppliers, non-trading companies, and so on). The aim is to offer ever more services and even greater freedom of action. As such, all displays are now dynamic. We have listened to what our customers want and have introduced a new mechanism for pre-validating registrations: now our customers can accredit a profile whether for one or more events. At the same time, participants can separately manage their account, registration forms and event application forms. Event organizers and participants can now leverage the software's even higher level of flexibility.

3- BADGE TEMPLATE WIZARD - Sending badges by email might be a growing practice, but our most security conscious customers still need to be able to print out their badges. We have therefore completely redesigned our badge creation solution. We have developed a new online badge wizard. This PTC-exclusive feature guarantees nothing but the fastest response times. Initial trials by our tester customers have proved the appeal of this new feature. We have also decided to introduce the option of a writable barcode for fast interfacing with electronic badges, while maintaining the smart dimension inherent in plastic badges.
 Finally and still on the subject of producing badges, our customers can now create and archive all their badge templates online in any color and format, thereby simplifying the future use of their archived templates.
4- PARTICIPANT ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - The possibility of copying personal participant information from one event to another has been changed. This option has been simplified to ensure superior flexibility for last-minute accreditations.
5- ADVANCED STATISTICS - In addition to automatic general reports in PDF format and summary emails, the latest version of IC2M provides users with an online graphic representation that can be configured to suit requirements and displayed in different formats. Data are synchronized in real time and results can be exported as Excel and PDF files. It goes without saying that results can be displayed by participant profile.
6- DOCUMENT STORAGE AND TRANSMISSION - An all-new document management module lets you load documents in different formats (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Open Office…) and in all supported and maintained versions. Users can attach these documents to registration forms and the event program, and follow up by emailing participants after events. A mass mailing function is also available, meaning that our customers can send targeted or mass emails and thereby secure a greater return on their actions and reduce transmission times.

Note : All developments in the latest version have been made without any sacrifice to user-friendliness and take full account of accessibility rules. These developments are still subjected to security audits and intrusion testing to guarantee the reliability of our different versions.  These new features are now an integral part of our software suite and are available simply by installing the new version for customers that have signed up for the IC2M annual maintenance agreement.
