PTC developed IC2M in 2005 to coincide with Luxembourg's Presidency of the European Union. Ever since, our knowledge, expertise and high-quality associated services have been seen as the gold standard by other organizers of international events, especially companies organizing the German, Portuguese, Slovene and French Presidencies of the European Union. IC2M was also used for G8 and the Union for the Mediterranean summits.
The solution was developed and enhanced to reflect the firm's experience in organizing in excess of 1 600 meetings and registering over 100 000 participants; IC2M is aimed at streamlining the event organization cycle by allowing participants in top-level meetings to be registered online and by delivering support for the logistics side of conferences (accommodation, transport, programs, and so on).
